The Europa-Park
is Germany's largest and most visited (3 million / year)
theme-park. The owner, Mack, has his own facility and makes most
of the rides himself. New for 2000 was the addition of a
greece-themed area with a vekoma mad-house and a water roller
coaster (Poseidon).
Roller
coasters are:
1) Euro-Mir:
A Mack spinning coaster built
around
mirrored towers.
2) Alpenexpress: A Mack family coaster.
3)
Schweizer Bobbahn: A Mack bobsled
coaster.
4)
Eurosat: A Mack coaster in the dark.
Enclosed
in a big white sphere similar to the
one
at EPCOT.
5) Poseidon: A water roller coaster, I believe
this is made by Mack as well.
6) Matterhorn-Blitz: A custom
Wild-Mouse
featuring
an elevator lift inside a tower.
